Leaf

Start with Leaf basic shape

1. Go to Create panel > Standard Primitive > Plane, set the Lenght for example = 1.55 cm and width= 1.55 cm also set Lenght segments = 3 and width Segments =1

 

2.Go to Modify Panel > Editable Poly > Edge Selection > Extrude Edges ( Click some edges + press "Shift" on your Keyboard + Move )

3. Continue step 2 above until you got the best shape, remove unnecessary vertex, then Go to Modify Panel > Editable Poly > Vertex Selection > Cut ( adding more lines )

4. Continue step 3 > Extrude some edges, Rotate those, remove unnecessary vertex, get the best shapes.

5. Go to  Modify Panel > Vertex Selection > "Cut" > Click first point then click another point to add more lines.

6. Go to Modify Panel > Edge Selection > Select some Edges ( you can use "Loop" selection, or just simply  do "double click" on first edge it will automatically select the rest ) > Pull Edges

7. Go to Modify Panel > Edge Selection > Select one  edge then click "Ring"to select quickly > Right click "Connect" or you can use "Cut"to add more lines.

8. Go to Modify Panel > Editable Poly > Border Selection > Select the object border > Extrude Edge ( press "Shift" on your keyboard and Drag )

9. Go to Modify Panel > Editable Poly > Subdivision Surface > activate "Use Nurms Subdivision" set the iterations = 2 or more to get the smooth result. also you can do with "Mesh smooth, Turbo Smooth, or Open Subdiv Modifier"

10. Final Result
